Responsible Use
The MASTER Leadership Framework™ is built to be used with care. These principles guide how results should be interpreted, shared, and acted upon.
Purpose and intent
The MASTER Leadership Framework™ is a developmental framework. Its purpose is to help individuals and organisations understand, map, and cultivate leadership capability. It is designed to illuminate the architecture of capability — never to label, rank, or pass definitive judgement on a person.
Developmental, not diagnostic
MASTER results describe a structure of capability and a direction for growth. They are not a clinical, medical, or psychological diagnosis. No individual should be reduced to a single result, score, or profile.
Qualified administration
MASTER inventories are intended to be administered, interpreted, and discussed with the support of qualified practitioners. Recipients of results are encouraged to review them in dialogue with a certified professional rather than in isolation.
Consent and transparency
Participation in any MASTER inventory must be voluntary and informed. Participants should understand the purpose of the assessment, how their responses will be used, and who will have access to the results, before they begin.
Confidentiality and dignity
Individual results are confidential to the participant and the practitioner supporting them. Results must not be shared within an organisation without the explicit consent of the individual. Every person's data is treated with dignity and care.
Non-discrimination
MASTER must not be used to discriminate against any individual or group. It must not be used as the sole basis for decisions about hiring, dismissal, promotion, or disciplinary action. It is one source of insight among many.
Contextual interpretation
Leadership capability is shaped by context, experience, and circumstance. MASTER results should always be interpreted within the broader context of a person's role, history, and environment — never in isolation.
Continuous development
MASTER is a framework for growth. Its responsible use means returning to capability over time, tracking development, and treating leadership as a living competency rather than a fixed verdict.
